My story
From the moment I started playing my uncle’s NES console
to jumping over the last goomba on world eight
I knew one thing was real:
I fell in love with video games.
As a five-year-old kid from the slum street corner of Vietnam
nothing else piqued my interest other than holding the controller in my hand
and let the game fantasy take me away.
Video game was an escape from my reality
I never saw myself rule under a communist party or living in poverty.
I only saw myself beating Bowser in a battle and living in a huge castle.
So I grew a cape and fly, I fly from the Kingdom of Azeroth to Vice City
until eventually, I made it here in the land of the free.
I love playing video games with a passion
but I knew I can’t love it obsessively for much longer.
And that’s ok, Im ready to take my passion to the next level
and allow my enjoyment of playing video games
evolve into the passion for creating one.
For better or worst, no matter what it takes or which game I create.
I will always be that kid that jumps over the last goomba on world eight.
